STEAM Clube is a spin off of our popular Homeschool STEAM class. Offered in the evening, this 60min class will include a Coding Challenge each week with 1 additional challenge. The second challenge or activity may be an Engineering Challenge, Science Experiment, Art Project, or Math Game.
Our coding challenge will vary each week. We will use robots from Sphero- Indi and Mini, LittleBits (coding circuits), and Dash from Wonder Workshop.
Engineering Challenge: using KEVA planks, magnet blocks, and LEGOs
Science Experiments: Examples would be making bath bombs or slime, exploring baking soda and vinegar reactions.
Art: variety of process art and using art with science. A favorite from last year was decorating craft pumpkins and making habitats (art plus science).
Math: Measurement, especially with coding, math games (with Pokemon cards), and more!
Ages: 5-12 years of age, independents class.

When choosing a 5 week session, they do not have to be consecutive. $90 for a 5 week 90min class, $80 for siblings. Please select your 5 dates at check out.

Make-up/Refund Policy: Please note no refunds are given for missed classes. You are able to make up a missed class by attending another class time, special workshop, or a STEAM Quest Kit will be given in place of the missed class. If you miss more than 2 classes a STEAM Quest Kit will automatically be given unless there is a documented reason. Please reach out to Miss Angie with any questions about our make up policy.
